If you are attempting to build your business, especially in the MLM world you may be suffering from information overload. You find yourself overwhelmed with the steps to learn the business, advertise the business, attract leads and turn them into affiliates in your downline. Don't sweat it though there are tools that will help you.
The tools available generally come in two forms offline and online, my personal belief is the best tool is the one you will use, so it doesn't really matter which one you prefer.
First and foremost you need lists, not the mailing list all the Internet Marketers talk about, just a plain old pad of paper and writing implement. A list is a powerful tool you can use it to organize anything, thoughts, needs, actions to be accomplished.
Once you have your list, you should schedule time to do the things on it. Put these items on a calendar or in a "day planner". You should organize your schedule in accordance with your goals. Just like you have short term, mid term and long term goals you should have daily, weekly or monthly and quarterly or semi-annual items on your calendar. This will make it much easier to track what you should be doing to reach your goals.
You absolutely must have an address book. If your in network marketing or MLM world, you should organize your contacts into leads, prospects, down line, clients and warm market. If you do this you'll know who you should spend most of your time concentrating on for any given purpose.
Just a quick note on how to do these tasks like I said above the best tool is the one you use. You can do these tasks on pen and paper, you can do these tasks on a PDA or you can even do these tasks online in a web mail account or a specific package just to manage your network marketing.
